Connor James Smith trained in Glasgow at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, before furthering his studies in London at the Guildhall School of Music. There he studied under professors Robert Dean and Adrian Thompson.
Operatic work in Scotland includes appearances with Scottish Opera and Opera Bohemia. He has also appeared with Fox Opera, West Green House Opera, Info Opera Norfolk and Garsington Opera.
He has also worked with the Scottish Fiddle Orchestra, Royal Northern Sinfonia and London Symphony Orchestra.
