Soprano.
Sally-Ann Shepherdson trained in Manchester at the RNCM, winning the Clair Croiza Prize for French Song. She then studied in Paris under Christiane Eda-Pierre, funded by an award from the Countess of Munster Musical Trust. She then continued her studies in Glasgow at the RSAMD, before moving on to the National Opera Studio in London.
She sang Belinda Dido and Aeneas in London with the ECO at the Queen Elizabeth Hall. Her debut with Scottish Opera in 1989 was as Barbarina. TV appearances include an adaptation of Marschner's Der Vampyr.
