James Platt Suggest updates

James Platt was educated in Manchester at Chetham's School of Music, then in London at the Royal Academy of Music and on the opera course at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.  He was a Jerwood Young Artist at Glyndebourne in 2013, and from 2014 to 2016 was a member of the Jette Parker Young Artists programme at the Royal Opera House.

With Scottish Opera he has sung Verdi (Dr Grenvil) and Tchaikovsky (Zaretsky, Bertrand Iolanta).  At the Edinburgh Festival he sang Second Soldier Salome, which was recorded.
