Scottish soprano.
Patricia MacMahon enjoyed a successful career particularly noted for her concert appearances. A favourite oratorio that she performed throughout her career was The Kingdom (Elgar) with its ethereally beautiful aria 'The sun goeth down'.
She combined her singing career with many years teaching at the RSAMD in Glasgow.
