Albert Bulmer Suggest updates

English theatrical manager.

Albert Bulmer was educated at the Liverpool Institute and became for six years a lecturer in Mathematics there.  He was appointed by George Nicholson, chairman of the Carl Rosa company, to be treasurer on tour, when it was under the management of Mr T H Friend. 

He followed a career in theatre management first with Carl Rosa and then with Moss Empires, resigning to work with Gordon Craig in theatrical production.  Some four years later, he moved to the Grand, Hanley following whiich he became manager of the Royal.  When he retired from this post in 1932 due to ill health, he had spent 38 years in theatrical management.
