Turkish tenor.
Bülent Bezdüz studied in Ankara, graduating from the Music Academy of Gazi University. He continued his training in Manchester at the European Opera Centre. He made his debut with them on a tour of the UK, Ireland and Denmark (title role Mozart's Lucio Silla). In 1999, while training in Marseille de Paris, he won second prize in the Concours International de Chant de Paris.
He joined the ensemble at the State Opera of Mersin, singing such roles as Donizetti (Edgardo), Verdi (Duke of Mantua), and Puccini (Rodolfo). He also sang Rodolfo at Tours, Cologne and Toronto, and Alfredo at Nancy, Rennes and De Vlaamse Opera, He went to Marseille for Gennaro Lucrezia Borgia.
Concert performances of opera include the London Symphony Orchestra: Berlioz (Francesco Benvenuto Cellini, Helenus Les Troyens); Verdi (Cassio Otello, Fenton Falstaff) and the Concertgebouw (Pang Turandot).
