Liz Ascroft Suggest updates

Designer.

Liz Ascroft trained at the Wimbledon School of Art and gained a UNESCO Award for the Promotion of the Visual Arts at the Prague Quadrennial.  She won the TMA Best Designer Award for The Rise and Fall of Little Voice at the Royal Exchange, Manchester.

She has worked extensively with UK theatres including Cheltenham Everyman, Plymouth Theatre Royal, Liverpool Everyman, Duke's Playhouse, Lancaster and Chichester Festival Theatre. On the Shore of the Wide World transferred from Manchester Royal Exchange to the National Theatre (Cottesloe). One for the Road went from the Gate Theatre, Dublin, to New York (Lincoln Center).  Peggy for You transferred from the Hampstead Theatre and Liverpool Everyman to the Comedy Theatre, London.

Her designs for Two Gentlemen of Verona at the Royal Shakespeare Company were seen at the Swan Theatre, Stratford and on a national tour.

Designs for opera include Lucia di Lammermoor for Scottish Opera and the Maryinsky, St Petersburg.
