Born Fano 1827.
Died Pesaro, 12 October 1865.
Italian tenor.
Antonio Giuglini had a brief but stellar career, much of which, between 1857 and 1864, was spent in Britain. During that time he appeared in the first London performances of several operas including Verdi's Luisa Miller (1858) and Un ballo in maschera (1861). His career was cut short as a result of insanity, and he was taken back to die in Italy.
