This was the only performance of Seraglio on this tour - the Glasgow audience saw the new Bennett piece The Mines of Sulphur instead, but they had seen it the previous November. Most of the cast are familiar - indeed John Wakefield and Rae Woodland had sung their roles with Scottish Opera two years before, and Jenifer Eddy, John Delaney and Frank Olegario were all excellent stylists.
