Scottish tenor.

Christian Schneeberger trained in Glasgow at RCS, studying under Wilma MacDougall,  Iain Paton and Amand Hekkers.

Operatic appearances include:

Opera Bohemia: Verdi (Gaston La Traviata, Caius Falstaff); Tchaikovsky (Triquet Eugene Onegin).

Ayrshire Opera Experience: M A Charpentier (Tantale The Descent of Orpheus to the Underworld).

He first sang with Scottish Opera in the youth company Scottish Opera Connect.  Since then he has appeared regularly in the company's chorus, in works such as The Barber of Seville.

Concert appearances include Glasgow West End Festival (Acis in Handel Acis and Galatea); St Andrews Voices (Schumann  Das Paradies und die Peri) and Dundee Choral Union (Rossini Petite Messe Solennelle).  His repertoire also includes Evangelist in Bach St John Passion.
