The Royal Opera House is steadily expanding the number of cinemas showing its productions. Some are recorded, some are live but all spread opera to a wider audience. Nothing of course can beat a living, breathing performance, but these feature the world's greatest artists, and Opera Scotland is happy to promote them. That relative rarity Adriana Lecouvreur is being shown at only two Scottish cinemas, and even Tosca at only four. For information regarding showings, follow the links for Adriana Lecouvreur and for Tosca. You can check times at the venues using the phone numbers given, or at the Royal Opera website.
