Kally Lloyd-Jones's stunning production hits the road after rave reviews at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The production involves a clever mix of dance and jazz music from the desperation of the 1930s depression. The story is of desperate couples trying to win to keep body and soul together, egged on by a brutal MC. Nadine Livingston sings haunting songs from that tragic era, while the dancers display their virtuosity. It seems a companion piece to the director's Seven Deady Sins. Highly recommended. Book here.
