OperaScotland is now well established and - happily - traffic to the site continues to build month on month and year on year. Nevertheless we continue to ask ourselves how we can improve our activity and our impact.
As part of this process Iain Fraser recently met independent consultant Hannah Rudman for a review of our digital presence. Hannah often works in association with the Cultural Enterprise Office, which offers business support services to assist creative micro-businesses in Scotland.
In only an hour we covered a lot of ground. Hannah made a number of useful observations and gave some astute advice based on her extensive experience of the sector. In consequence, we plan to research some different tactics and probably refine some of the areas where we are active.
We have also been given some options to explore over the longer term, particularly in relation to the development of our archive.
Many thanks to Hannah, and the Cultural Enterprise Office for facilitating the review!
